Greg Vanselow

Hello!  I’m Greg, a member and class instructor at HardShell Fitness.  I’ve been training at HardShell for nearly a decade, and now enjoy creating welcoming, adaptive, fun opportunities for people of all kinds to come together and use the tools and methods we have at HardShell to maintain and increase their strength and wellbeing.  

Aside from practicing kettlebells, powerlifting, calisthenics, and more with the HardShell community, I’ve studied many other forms of movement and exercise over the past 40 years, including conventional resistance training, boxing, running, Pilates, gymnastics, tap dancing, and ballet. I continue to train regularly at HardShell for my own wellbeing and to continue building the value I can provide our members.

It’s my goal to provide an environment where everyone can show up as their authentic selves, use the tools we have to craft the best workout for them on that day, challenge themselves if they want to, and continuously develop overall strength for life.  In my classes you’ll receive proper instruction to perform movements safely and confidently using an approach that meets you where you’re at.  We have fun, we work hard, and we have awesome playlists.
